Food is my favourite thing. It should be everyone’s favourite thing. It doesn't argue. It doesn’t leave its towels on the floor. And it tastes awesome. If you share my love for food over anything, or anyone, then The Food Show is your idea of a good time.

A day packed with celebrity chefs, cheap foodie deals, new cooking ideas and, the most important part of all, unlimited tasting. All. Day. Long.

The annual event is growing each year, and showcases the best cuisine from New Zealand and overseas. Once you hit the food coma phase from way too many tasters, you can chase the cuisine with wine, beer, coffee, tea or juice from New Zealand’s best bevvy manufacturers. The show also sells a range of kitchen gadgets and appliances, which will convince your friends that you actually do know how to cook, and Kiwi chefs will offer cooking tips so that you can prove that your new gadgets aren’t just for show.

If you love cooking, or eating, or drinking. The Food Show offers a pretty generous dose of all three.
