The Matariki Ritual
Rug up warm, bring a blanket and someone to snuggle up to.
Overview
Every midwinter festival needs a fire ritual of some sort and Matariki is keeping up its side of the bargain with an evening at Te Papa's outdoor amphitheatre. Rug up warm, bring a blanket and someone to snuggle up to as you listen to stories of Maori legends and explanations of the phases of the moon told around a fire.
