Overview

With a discography of top 40 hits, among them 23 singles and 17 albums, The Stranglers have had a long run of it. The new wave group have been around since 1974, formed in England and credited for their place in new wave as one of the most exciting bands to have emerged from the genre.

"Few bands can have mastered so many types of music from the baroque pop of Golden Brown to the grinding noise of the perfect Curfew which, as part of Black and White, opened up the post punk door and then the noisnik scene of eighties, with its best bass sound ever and deconstruction of rock music into a new form." LouderThanWar.com, (2015)

Fans can look forward to bangers from The Stranglers' extensive 40-year back catalogue such as No More Heroes, Golden Brown, and Peaches. Ed Kuepper is the special guest opened for the tour- you'll know him as the co-founder of punk heroes The Saints and his experimental post-punk venture Laughing Clowns.
