Overview

Annabel Langbein is New Zealand's Nigella Lawson, and The Food Show Wellington is your chance to meet our homegrown domestic goddess. Like Nigella, Annabel has kept up with contemporary food trends: her recent recipe for chocolate mousse using aquafaba (the chickpea brine you usually pour down the sink) will delight vegans, though the verdict is still out for the rest of us.

It wouldn't be a contemporary food show without 'well-being', 'whole food' and 'raw' being in attendance and at the Healthy Hub you can sample and shop for foods free of everything you don't fancy: gluten, dairy, refined sugar and preservatives.

If your idea of well-being is less quinoa and more a well-brewed beer, head to the Food Show's very first Brewer's Lane. Here's your chance to chat to some crafty brewers and put on your most interesting and charming face in the hope that they'll pour you an extra large taster.
