Overview

"Life isn't about your woes and worries, it's about enjoying it to the full. Because you never know when it goes." For the past 25 years the critically acclaimed Massive Company have thrived to bring an energetic, beautifully authentic and a distinctively kiwi experience to theatre. This month the company will enliven the Hannah Playhouse with their latest work, The Wholehearted.

It is stories of love and devotion that are the backbone of The Wholehearted. Directed by Sam Scott and Scotty Cotter, The Wholehearted weaves dance and theatre into a work which explores the human experience of pursuing love and the ways it can transform our lives. The heart-warming journey transcends generations, genders and cultures in a charming and compassionate fashion. Life stories are told through the lens of a diverse mix of tender and humoristic characters, all portrayed 'wholeheartedly' by an ensemble of established actors.

The Wholehearted aims to be an honest and powerful production which aspires to bring hope, joy and courage to its audiences.
