Overview

What better way to immerse yourself in the very essence of Wellington culture than to attend Tuatara Open Late? The combination of beer, books and fashion has never gone down as smoothly as it will on Thursday, 1 November at City Gallery.

The evening lineup includes a screening of SODA_JERK's TERROR NULLIUS, Alexander Maxwell's talk 'From Uniforms to Futurist Fashion', the chance to view the Black Panthers short documentary Off the Pig! (1968), and Emily Perkins and the City Gallery Book Club, including writer Lynda Chanwai-Earle, cartoonist Dylan Horrocks and journalist Donna Miles-Mojab, riffing off the exhibition Iconography of Revolt.

The first Thursday of this month will also be the last opportunity to view the present exhibitions after dark. Explore the minds of a range of creatives whilst simultaneously sipping on craft beer and enjoying supper treats from La Boca Loca and Boquita.

General entry by donation.
