Overview

That time of the year has come when it's acceptable to stuff as much chocolate down your gob as possible. Every weekend, the Wellington Chocolate Factory is opening its doors to those who purchase a golden ticket.

WCF's weekly 'Discover the Art of Chocolate Making' factory tours are back. During the hour-long session you'll hear about entire bean-to-bar chocolate making process, from the historical origins of the beans to the process of roasting, conching, tempering, winnowing and cracking.

And, yes, the goods will be up for tasting. You will get to taste the difference between single origin chocolate, inclusions and milk chocolate, and then learn the meaning behind WCF's tasting mantra: 'snap, smell, savour'.

The $30 tickets prices includes one hot chocolate, a homemade chocolate chip cookie, the tasting experience of four chocolate bars, and the chocolate bar of your choice to take home.
