What is a Life?
The biggest question in life, and a new exhibition by Kim Pieters.
Overview
What is a Life? is the biggest question in art, and life, and the title of Kim Pieters' current exhibition at the Adam Art Gallery.
Running from May 27 until September 21, What is a Life? explores the empirical, metaphysical and logical way of knowing the answer to life's questions through audiovisual works.
Kim Pieters is a New Zealand artist and experimental musician, who played bass and did vocals for bands such as Dadamah, Rain, Flies inside the Sun, Pieters/Russell/Stapleton, DoraMaar and Sleep. Her performances usually involved her moving-image projections.
