Overview

"Equal parts couture, choreography and craziness," (thanks for summing that up, TIME), WOW World of Wearable Arts is back for another year. Stronger than ever, more that 55,000 show-goers from around the world will converge on our capital over its 28th season from September 22 to October 9, 2016.

Designers are challenged to take art off the walls and onto the human form. Their backgrounds in every discipline of the arts and living all over the world make for a sensationally fabulous show - you truly never know what is going to walk the stage.

Spectacular choreography, lighting that truly tells a story and amazing soundscapes bring the fantastical themes of each category to life. Your sense of reality is suspended for two hours, and you'll never look at clothing, or art, or dance the same again.
