Overview
Panman's pop-up paella is the answer to those Sunday evenings when you wish you'd spent your afternoon shopping, chopping and gently stirring a delicious something for Sunday dinner, instead of binge-watching the entire The Handmaid's Tale or carrying out 'Important Instagram Research'.
On Sunday and Thursday evenings between Panman is popping up and prepping paella for pick-up from the Wadestown shops. Text through your order for meat and seafood or vegetarian paella ($10 per serving), how many portions you want and when you want it, and a paella party is but a pick-up away.
Panman's version of the Spanish classic follows a traditional recipe and uses bomba rice, saffron and smoked paprika but adds their own signature with locally-produced chorizo and their own smoked hot chilli 'Hoot' paste thrown in for a spicy kick. The plan is to grow the menu over time and add new dishes like creme catalana ($8 per serving), a baked Spanish custard dessert.
Find the Panman paella pop-up at 102b Wadestown Road, Wadestown every Thursday and Sunday.
