Whether you're a carnivore, flexitarian, vegan or vegetarian, NZ's homegrown BurgerFuel has been slinging burgers to every kind of burger fiend for over 20 years. Alongside its OG gourmet NZ beef patties and grilled free-range chicken varieties, BurgerFuel has a range of vegetarian and vegan burgers, too.
The Plant-Powered range features four meat-free burgers, including the V8 Vegan (crumbed pumpkin, ginger and chickpea bites with melted vegan provolone, lettuce, beetroot and miso pea mash) and the Combustion Tofu (teriyaki tofu with peanut sauce, smashed avocado and salad). Now, it's releasing another veg-friendly, limited-edition burger to the mix: the Chook Free.
A 100 per cent vegan take on BurgerFuel's Chook Royale mini burger, the Chook Free is only available from Tuesday, August 6 until stocks last. Made with a crumbed chicken-free (but still just as tasty) patty topped with grilled pineapple, melted vegan provolone cheese, BurgerFuel vegan aioli, relish and salad in a mini wholemeal bun, it's a burger you won't want to miss out on — no matter your dietary requirements.
Best of all? To celebrate the launch of this limited-edition snack, we've got 30 free BurgerFuel vouchers to give away, so you can try one for free. Or, if meat is more your style, you can sink your teeth into any burger of your choosing.
