Overview

Scopa has become a Cuba Street favourite among Wellingtonians and visitors alike. Their corner location on Cuba and Ghuznee provides the perfect look out to enjoy some Italian treats and let the entertaining nature of the famous street do its thing.

While Scopa is known for its pizza, this is only the tip of the menu iceberg. They also offer pasta, handmade gnocchi, fresh salads and desserts that'll give your sweet tooth a serious workout. And don't get us started on their traditional hot chocolate. While a serving is basically a shot glass in size, it's all you need.

You're probably going to be waiting here for the darker side of 45 minutes if you show up without a booking. While it is a bit of a pain, the optimist's way to look at it is as a tribute to just how good this joint is (and how satisfied you'll be when it's your turn to be served).
