Former Economics teacher Jane Stanton began making chocolate truffles using her grandfather, Tik's recipes and now has a thriving business in Invercargill. Her goal is to capture the real flavours of New Zealand in her chocolate and share that with you. You can call into her cafe and concept store, have hot chocolate stirred with a chocolate spoon, sample some of those 'real NZ flavours' like pavlova, coffee, merlot, manuka honey and even bluff oyster. If you're lucky, Jan will be there to regale you with tales of her mayor and fire chief grandfather who made it all happen.
