Hell Pizza Is Giving Away 4500 Adult Toys for Valentine's Day

Masters of controversial advertising campaigns, Hell Pizza, are revving things up a notch this Valentine's Day. Not by serving up heart-shaped pizza or a slice topped with cardiac offal, but by handing out free adult toys with every pizza purchase.

The last time the takeaway pizza chain came under fire for a bawdy promotion was when it mail-dropped more than 1o0,000 condoms in New Zealand letterboxes. This time, it's partnering with the Adult Toy Megastore for mass handout of Bullet vibrators.

From Friday, 12 and Sunday, 14 February, those aged 18 and above will have the option of adding the adult toy to their order when purchasing at least one double-size pizza online or through the Hell app. Customers must opt-in to receive one of the adult toys and then use the code 'Hellvibes' at the checkout. The promotion is not available for orders placed in-store.

Hell has 4500 Bullet vibrators to give away nationwide. The company says it will ensure that the X-rated toys are discreetly packaged and sealed with an R18 sticker. According to Hell, a survey by the Adult Toy Megastore found that nearly half of New Zealanders purchased a sex toy from an adult store in 2020.
