The Experiment

Overview

From July 22 - 23, The Experiment will take over three floors of Auckland's dark and mysterious space, Galatos. The Experiment will bring together emerging and established artists from all disciplines, and create a platform to try out new ideas and do what the name says, experiment.

For its third time running, guests will be immersed into a multidisciplinary arts festival, with performances, exhibitions and installations. Acts include music, theatre, dance, spoken word, street art, puppetry and more. Audiences are invited to roam between the acts happening throughout the venue.

The lineup includes great musical collaborators Yoko-Zuna, a classic Weird Together DJ set, dancer and inter-disciplinary performance artist Cat Ruka, provocative poet Tourettes, multimedia performance and R&B infused tri-hop of SoccerPractise, the team from Pretty Asian Theatre, improvised jazz soundscape performers Saturnian Noise Collective, and plenty more still to be announced.
