Overview

An eclectic group of the most promising modern innovators in soul, R&B and electronica are en-route to Aotearoa for two live shows in Auckland and Wellington. Renowned for seamlessly mixing genres, sultry smooth vocals and addictive basslines - The Internet are an acclaimed six-piece band from the wild west coast, California. The band is headed by one of the most unique and multi-talented humans around, Syd The Kyd, a Crenshaw local who's been singing since 11 and taught herself to record, engineer and produce by the age of 15.

After two acclaimed but underground albums The Internet released Ego Death, their most introspective and complete work yet - a Grammy-nominated masterwork in genre-bending soul music. So to witness this aural artwork and other highlights from a short but impressive discography, head to the Powerstation early August and soak in the sultry vocals and slinking baselines straight from the source.
