Overview

Vitamin S Festival is a four day showcase of experimental music and dance improvisation.

Performers from around the globe and from our very own sonic backyard will come together for the unique event. Attendees should expect the unexpected with performances from radical instrument inventor Neil Feather, Los Angeles guitar maverick Peter Kolovos, voice experimentalist Viv Corringham, local saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Jim Langabeer, Sydney guzheng player Clare Cooper, among plenty of others.

On Sunday 29 March, dancers from Norway, Baltimore, Buenos Aires, the UK, and New Zealand will host workshops for dancers interested in exploring improvisation with live music.

The events will be held across three venues: Audio Foundation, Auckland Old Folks Association and the Wine Cellar.
