Overview

Waiheke Island, with its beaches, picturesque tableaus and prowess in the New Zealand viticulture landscape, lends itself perfectly as the backdrop to a celebration of all things wine and food. Home to a number of renowned vineyards, the 'Island of Wine' (only a short ferry ride from the CBD) plays host to the Waiheke Wine and Food Festival on April 1.

Indulge in hand-crafted wines from award-winning vineyards, and gourmet food from artisanal vendors, including: Te Motu, DragoFired Pizza, Urban Escargot, South American Oven, Shima Sushi, Babikas Table, Langos and Rangihoua Estate. All while soaking up the last of the summer sun, enjoying live music and the breathtaking views Waiheke is renowned for.

The ticket price includes ferry and bus transport, a wine glass and your first drop of vino on arrival. Head along with a significant other, or get some friends together, and proudly celebrate the artistry of New Zealand's gourmet wine and food scene.
