Overview

It's official, guys - Wellington is the country's craft beer capital. It's been forming (or should that be brewing?) for a long time- new and nifty breweries carving out their spots, whether in old garages or tucked into the back of laneways. One surefire way to tell is the size of Beervana this year - it's going to be the biggest and best yet.

The largest craft beer event in New Zealand, spanning Friday and Saturday at Westpac Stadium is all about discovery and collaboration. Themed bars, innovative partnerships between some of the cleverest foodies and brewers in the city and a heck of a lot of damn good food to go with all that beer are to be found over the weekend.

Like a big beer hug, be drawn into the New Zealand craft beer community. Whether you're a seasoned beer belly holder or new to the craft, there's a lot to discover about that hoppy drop we all know and love.

The event runs in four sessions:

Friday 12 August, 11am–4pm (Premier from 10.30am)
Friday 12 August, 6pm–11pm (Premier from 5.30pm)
Saturday 13 August, 1am–4pm (Premier from 10.30am)
Saturday 13 August, 6pm-11pm (Premier from 5.30pm)
