Overview

Surf has undergone a few changes in recent years. The World Championship Tour has been overhauled into a more accessible form of professional sport, technology and the likes of the GoPro have changed the way we view surfing, and there has been a huge spike in incredible surf films that are getting people stoked on the culture.

This week you'll have the chance to get along to some screenings of such surf films with the O'Neill Aotearoa Surf Film Festival. Held at the iconic Crystal Palace Theatre in Mount Eden, you'll be in for a night of good times with a couple of international film screenings, a bar put on by Corona, a some rad giveaways from the festival sponsors.

Screenings:

6:30pm – The Salt Trail (UK)

8:30pm – Bella Vita (Italy)

All feature films are accompanied by a selection of short films.
