The Government's limit on mass gatherings has been increased and the events are starting to come in hot. First out of the gate is a new festival from the organisers of Touch Bass, Electric Gardens, Quiet Please and Spring City.

Electronic dance lovers are in for a treat on Saturday, 3 October as the first-ever BreakOut hits Spark Arena. Kicking off from 6.30pm and running until late, the festival will see some of our finest electronic producers pump out bass-heavy jams through one of the country's filthiest production rigs — Endeavour Live are promising to deliver "a powerhouse display for the ages."

On the bill: drum and bass producer duo The Upbeats, festival favourites Lee Mvtthews fresh from releasing their debut album Bones, and local dance music legends State of Mind with MC Tiki Taane. Support performances come from rising stars EMWA, Fairbrother and Witters.

Those still thirsty for some dance floor action can head to the official after party at K' Road's Neck of the Woods. MC Crafty will introduce back-to-back sets from Flowidus, Fairbrother, Witters, 33 Below, Sammie.

Discounted presale tickets are now available, and organisers are offering a BreakOut VIP experience including backstage passes, a limo ride to the event and more.
