48 Hours Grand National Final

There's always a real mix of films at the 48 Hours Grand National Final; some will make you laugh, others will surprise and move you but all of them are guaranteed to make you marvel at what can be achieved in just one weekend. This is pressure cooker filmmaking at its best and we have a double pass to give away to the event.

Overview

Concrete Playground has a double pass to give away to 48 Hours Grand National Final on Friday May 30. Email [email protected] with the subject heading '48 Hours' along with your name and mobile number to go in the draw.

It's the two days a year aspiring film makers really have to make it count; the 48 Hour Film Festival. Over 700 films were submitted back in April but only 14 can compete for top place at the Grand National Final 2014. Four of these are the Sir Peter Jackson Wildcards and have been selected by the man himself.

As part of the annual competition teams are allocated one of 12 genres and have to find clever ways to weave a prop, line of dialogue and name into the story. This year they were given a ball, the line: "Not with that you’re not" and Morgan Foster to work with.
