Overview

Dire Straights’ guitar wizard Mark Knopfler apparently can’t take the music of contemporary folk artist Ruth Moody off his jukebox.

More incredible than the fact her music can be listened to on a jukebox, is that the Australian born songwriter is a founding member of the internationally-renowned folk Canadian trio The Wailin' Jennys, who have been the recipients of two Juno Awards. She's also a dab hand at guitar, piano, bodhran, accordion and banjo, won first prize in the International Songwriting Competition for her song 'Storm Comin’, performed to sold-out crowds around the world and released two solo albums.

This will be her first New Zealand show.
