Overview

It’s been 10 years since Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst performed in New Zealand supporting REM. Now the singer/songwriter is returning for his very own headline concert.

Once named best songwriter in the world by a respected publication, Oberst’s creative output is prolific. His back catalogue spans six albums, including his most recent release Upside Down Mountain, which Rolling Stone called, “the most immediately charming record he has ever made.” His work load doesn't just stop with solo material, he's also lent his magic to bands like Desaparecidos, Norman Bailer (The Faint), Commander Venus, Park Ave, Arab Strap and Monsters of Folk.

On this occasion, he will be supported by New York folk/rock/country band The Felice Brothers.
