Choose one of three delicious days over Anniversary Weekend, The 2013 Auckland Seafood Festival down at Wynyard Quarter will be fish sample heaven. Event organisers promise over 100 varieties of seafood, including crayfish, paua, mussels, oysters scampi whelks and every kind of fish in the rainbow. Stop it, I’m drooling.
Once you’re stuffed, there’s loads of entertainment, competitions, NZ wine and beer and a Seafood School, where top chefs take you through tips and tricks to making the most of your delectable treats.
General admission is $20 at the gate and kids under 13 are free.
