Overview

After selling out the NZ International Comedy Festival in 2010, Chris Cox the masterful mind-reader who can’t read minds is back and ready to wow audiences with a new set of tricks.

In Fatal Distraction his fifth brand-new show, Cox will be doing things he shouldn’t be able to with the comedy brochure, performing tricks nobody has ever attempted before, probing theories of fate and answering the FAQ: ‘Can you use this stuff on girls?’. The (non)mind-reader will be giving the audience the power to control his actions with their minds. Watch as Cox weaves a romantic narrative around some of the most unique and incredible mind-reading effects ever seen on the stage.

In case you need further convincing here's what some of his UK critics have to say; The Guardian call him "one of the most exciting entertainers in Britain" while Time Out UK thinks "he does tricks that would make Jesus proud…Loveable, geeky & deceptively talented." And if you think that's some high praise, well, he's also ranked number one in Concrete Playground's Ten Must See Comedians in the NZ International Comedy Festival.
