You're in the middle of the Gulf with a thirst for the good stuff, but only remembered to pack some pesky water. Good news — one of the most prestigious champagne houses in the world, Dom Pérignon, is launching an on-water delivery service so you don't even have to step foot on dry land for a bottle of bubbly.

In partnership with New York steakhouse, Saxon + Parole, the dedicated concierge service will see cases of the brand's 2010 vintage delivered direct to your vessel on either Friday, 12 or Saturday, 13 March. The delivery window is subject to change due to weather conditions and COVID-19 alert levels, but the designated rig will be completing drop-offs from North Shore beaches to the perimeter of the Rangitoto Channel and everywhere in between.

There are two packages available for pre-order, including three bottles for $1200 or a hefty six-bottle case for $2200. During your day out on the water the service will dial up the skipper, pull right up alongside your 30-footer or tin shitbox and unload the goodies.

Those on dry land can also get in on the action by heading to Saxon + Parole's Dom Pérignon Lounge. Should Auckland be out of Alert Level 3, diners can head along to the harbourside venue to swirl the champagne house's vintages and down freshly shucked oysters.
