Marina Abramovic’s Faux Pharmacy Commercials
The performance artist has now had a commercial makeover thanks to Photoshopper par excellence Vladimir Maislin.
Marina Abramovic is best known for doing "nothing", sitting in a chair at the Museum of Modern Arts for 736 hours and staring at strangers until they cry (okay, only sometimes cry, but still), being a muse to both Jay Z and Lady Gaga, making strangers squeeze past her and her boyfriend's naked bodies, and performing Seed Bed (a bit of a NSFW performance piece involving self-love and a microphone).
But the performance artist has now had a commercial makeover thanks to photoshopper par excellence Vladimir Maislin - showing the Abramovic's aptness for work in the advertising world: namely promoting pharmaceutical treatments for neck pain, colds and headaches.
Ah, if only.
