Overview
We imagine your summer festival lineup is looking a little stacked right now, but let us offer another to add to the mix. In early February a bevy of international and local artists and food and drink artisans will descend on Hawke's Bay for Outfield, a music, food and arts festival in its fourth year.
You'll be able to dance in the idyllic rolling hills of Te Awanga Downs as 37 international and local acts take the stage, including four-man soulful rock ban Coterie, Auckland rapper JessB, renowned Aotearoa producer P Money, Wellington electronic bass music collective Rhombus, Indie pop-rock Australian band Vacations, UK drum and bass artists Dillinja and Kasra — and many more.
And yes, given the one-day festival's location smack bang in the country's 'fruit bowl' there will be premium food and drink options to keep you fuelled — including craft beers, artisan food offerings from local makers and of course, some truly excellent wines.
If you're keen to make a weekend out of it, there are camping options are available close to the festival grounds and to the stunning TukiTuki River — perfect for walks and picnics on Friday afternoon.
Outfield Festival will take place on Saturday, February 11 2023 at Te Awanga Downs, Hawke's Bay. Earlybird tickets are on sale now — head to the website or keep up with the festival's social media pages for more info.
