Off the back of an appearance at the already sold-out Splendour in the Grass, Kendrick Lamar will headline three New Zealand shows in support of his fourth album DAMN.. It will be his first local appearance since performing at Auckland City Limits in 2016.

Lamar is one of the most critically acclaimed and successful hip hop artists of our generation. The Compton rapper most recently became the first ever artist to take out the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for contemporary music. He's also the beholder of 12 Grammys, has clocked up more than six million album sales worldwide, and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME Magazine.

Lamar will return to our shores for three shows in July performing at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on July 17 and Auckland's Spark Arena on July 19 and 20.

Having recently taken the DAMN. tour across the UK and Europe, set lists were built from his extensive catalogue, including good kid, m.A.A.d city (2012), To Pimp A Butterfly (2015) and his most recent effort DAMN..

Kendrick Lamar will play Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on July 17 and Auckland's Spark Arena on July 19 and 20. The final release of tickets go on sale from 8am Thursday 28 June.
