First line-up announced for Northern Bass

Fans of all kinds of bass music are in for a treat with New Years festival Northern Bass revealing their 2013/2014 line-up

Set just an hour north of Auckland in the beautiful surrounds of Mangawhai, Northern Bass brings together all elements of local and international bass culture including genres even the most clued up bass enthusiasts didn’t know about - grime, drum n bass, boom bap, hip hop, neurocrunk, dubstep, glitch hop, reggae, ghetto funk, latin soul funk and more..

The first line-up announcement includes,

UK drum n bass artists Calyx And Teebee, South London musician and producer Swindle, Wellington’s Electric Wire Hustle joined by their new drummer Thomas Pridgen of American rock band The Mars Volta, live loop artist Dub FX and a whole heap more, including...

Ladi6, Upbeats Live w/ MC Armanni, Onra, S.P.Y, Nu:Logic, Dillinja, Alix Perez, Eprom Icicle, Sticky Budz, Supervillains RMC, The Turnaround, Jason Howson w/ MC Koder, Soulware, K+Lab, Latinaotearoa, Raiza Biza, Consequence Live, Organikismness, Bailey Wiley, Orphan, Buck Rogers, Dylan C, Hollow Crooks, Misfits Of Zion, Mixed Crate.

To celebrate the first line-up drop, free camping will be available with all festival tickets purchased until the end of September. Tickets start at $129 for a one day pass or $149 for a two-day pass.
