Overview

Aahh Christmas. As the big day looms, we are reminded of just how infuriating our bossy siblings and spoilt little nieces and nephews are. For a bit of a break from endless list writing, shopping nightmares and the like why not go along to the Outfit Theatre Company’s latest comedy production, A Criminal Christmas.

The premise of the story is a bunch of small time criminals are sentenced to an unusual form of community service – they have to spend their Christmas Eve providing entertainment for the elderly residents of a financially-troubled rest home. With the conniving director of the home determined to see them fail, and the performance fast approaching, the crims must put their differences aside and create their own version of the Nativity story. Only you know it won’t be that easy.

Being entertained by the dysfunctional ‘family’ of A Criminal Christmas is surely the best antidote for all the Christmas build up, so let this rowdy bunch of comedic performers distract you from the madness.
