Overview

Wellington-born brewery Black Dog has announced an Auckland tasting event to celebrate its fifth Experimental Range and the release of its annual fresh hop brew.

The brand's Adrian Klemp and Dan Lord will be taking guests through a tasting session at Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen on Wednesday, 17 April. Black Dog's latest range heroes a single hop in each brew, showcasing its individual flavour and taste. In the single hop series the Lone Wolf Mosaic IPA, which uses the American Mosaic hop, will be launched alongside an Indian pale lager and a fresh-hop IPA.

Guests at the tasting session will be able to try the new Experimental Range and three new Cuba Street small batch beers. The tasting will also include brewers platters and pizzas for only $10 a spot.
