Alan Davies has been in the comedy game for 25 years now. While the funny man is best known for his work onstage and roles with British television programmes Jonathan Creek, QI and As Yet Untitled, his talents also extend to writing and broadcasting. His popular Arsenal FC-focussed podcast, The Tuesday Club, has surpassed seven million downloads, and he is currently in the process of creating a three-part documentary series, partly based on his autobiographical book My Favourite People and Me.

Having bypassed our fine country on his ‘Little Victories’ tour of Australia last year, Davies is making some time in busy schedule to return to New Zealand for an 11-date tour, including three performances in Auckland. The highly personal show sees Davies go back to his roots as a stand-up comedian, covering everything from sexual frustration, family life and Alzheimer’s in 90 minutes. The Guardian called it “deft silliness and shrewd observation.”

Alan plays one show at Auckland's Town Hall, before moving to the North Shore's Bruce Mason Centre for two more shows.
