An Evening with Sother Teague

Overview

Sother Teague is a man that knows his drinks. This renowned mixologist has made a name for himself mixing drinks throughout New York and beyond. Named last year's Mixologist of the Year by Wine Enthusiast, he's an author, co-host of radio show The Speakeasy, and has been featured in the likes of Esquire and The New York Times.

At the end of July 2019, he'll be touching down in Ponsonby's speakeasy Ante Social. With classic vinyl playing in the background, he'll share his passion for a great cocktail, mixing up a range of beverages and sharing the history of the classics as well as lesser known drinks.

And Sother isn't showing up alone. He'll be collaborating with Nathan Houpapa, executive chef of Comensa Group, who will be creating appetizers designed to go hand in hand with Sother's cocktails.

The evening will come in the form of a four-course menu, with food and drinks. The event is R18 and is part of Eat Drink Love Ponsonby and Elemental AKL19.
