Raced over a gruelling 3200m, some of the country’s best horses and riders will race head-to-head in a bid to win their share of the Group I Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup’s $500,000 stake.

If your man matches your outfit, the odds are with you for the day’s fashion competition – Hawaiian Airlines Cup Couture. The judges will be roaming the racecourse on the lookout for the day’s most stylish couples – the very best of which who will win return flights for two to Hawaii flying with Hawaiian Airlines.

The gorgeous Lindauer Lounge will be there as usual, as well as Ellerslie’s legendary Birdcage Bash which kicks off after the horses have been tucked away in their stables.

The Gourmet Village, brought to you by Taste of Auckland, will feature award-winning restaurant The Grove who will be serving signature dishes and a number of tastes exclusively designed for Auckland Cup Week. Auckland Cup Day is the last day to try them, so don't miss the delicious opportunity.
