Overview

Auckland's waterfront will serve as the stage for some of the globe's most talented street performers as the International Buskers Festival returns this Anniversary Weekend. The openair festival has been taking place in Auckland since 2001, attracting comedians, acrobats and freaks alike.

The lineup for this year's festival is nothing short of bonkers. Eight extraordinary performers will present thrilling koha performances in various locations on Auckland's Viaduct Harbour and waterfront. See Basketball Jones for trickery with basketballs and a unicycle; Bexley Hoops for a combination of dance, contortion, comedy and jaw-dropping hula-hooping; Mr Penguin for incredible juggling feats and hilarious audience interaction; and Switzerland's Sailor Paz for fire eating, unicycling and axe throwing.

Daily shows run from 12pm. Visit the festival website for the full program and venues.
