Overview

Baauer, the man responsible for the song that inspired 2013's favourite internet dance craze is set to hit New Zealand for three shows alongside DJ and producer Ryan Hemsworth.

24-year-old Baauer became an online phenomenon overnight last year thanks to "Harlem Shake", the bass-heavy track that seamlessly borders hip hop, trap and novelty genres. It also led him to reach number one in both New Zealand and Australia and take out Dance Song of the Year and EDM Song of the Year at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. He will appear in New Zealand for the first time off the back of shows across the US, Europe and Australia.

Baauer's Canadian tour partner Ryan Hemsworth has put his twist on remixes for big names including Kanye West, Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky and Grimes. This latest tour will support his first solo album, Guilt Trips.
