Overview

Other than being responsible for 2013's most popular internet dance craze, Brooklyn-based trap producer Harry Rodrigues (best known as Baauer) has collaborated with legendary hip hop producer Just Blaze and produced remixes for the likes of Disclosure, The Prodigy, Flosstradamus and No Doubt.

The 26-year-old has been producing dance music from the age of 13, though it wasn't until he caught the eye of EDM kingpin Diplo that he started making traction with his electro-trap style - noted as a combination of crunk beats, d-floor tempos, and samples ripped from video-sharing sites.

Baauer's forthcoming visit will see him take a break from working on his debut album. The secretive LP has been reported as being a back-to-roots album, which perhaps means that he's channeling the house music vibes of his 13-year-old bedroom producer self.

Either way, a night out with Baauer on Saturday 24 October will encompass electro-trap, bass-heavy party tracks, and a spin of that aforementioned online phenomenon.
