Local bakers and florists will come together at Silo Park on March 25 for an intriguing mashup of home baked sweet treats and vibrant flowers. This is the first market of its kind in New Zealand. It will feature some of the country's most sought after patisserie chefs and dessert specialists, from Olaf's and Mint Cakery to the Macho Mini and Our Little Kitchen Co.
The Flower Project will bring colour to the day out, presenting a team of handpicked florists, displaying plants, flora and shrubbery of all shapes and sizes. This is a unique market day, perfect for finding a gift for someone special or indulging a little yourself.
The Silo Craft Zone will also make an appearance giving you the chance to create your own lush bouquet. Kicking off at 9am, the market will welcome food vendor gathering Food Space to serve delicious street food all day, and the Silo Bar will be pouring from midday.
