Because not everyone knows the difference between a pomp, a taper, a crew and bangs.

Overview

Thanks in part to the influence of Don Draper and Mad Men, the barber industry has seen an almighty resurgence in the past few years, sprouting a new wave of urban lumberjacks and well-groomed metrosexuals. The stock-standard 'short, back and sides' is also a dying request, slowly being relegated to the one-cut-suits-all shopping mall salons.

Because not everyone knows the difference between a pomp, a taper, a crew, and bangs, BarberCraft is here to keep you on board with the latest trends in men's grooming and barbering. Open to anyone and everyone with an interest in men's fashion, the second event will take place at Shed 10 from May 20 - 21.

High points include the Battle of the Barbers, pitting seasoned hair-cutting professionals and apprentices head-to-head in a fast-paced barbering competition, and live demonstrations from guest barbers showcasing some of the greatest pieces of hair artwork ever created. There will also be entertainment and food on offer.
