Basement Christmas Market Day

Overview

On Saturday, December 15, the Basement Theatre, which is usually known for hosting some of Auckland's best up and coming theatre shows, is hosting its annual Christmas Market Day.

Starting at 2pm, the markets will have stalls packed with gifts made locally in New Zealand, self care treats (I mean, why not get yourself a Christmas present too?) and artistic crafts — including ceramics, candles, custom blend teas and hand-crafted works.

Stallholders include products and services from the likes of Bohemia Tea Co (Little Bird Organics' preferred tea), Byron Coll Photography, sustainable and ethical brand Dangerous Goods Jewellery, beekeeper and environmental advocate Ella Rose Shnapp, Gabbage & Brine, specialists in hand-painted nail art Hello Tanya Nails and Hello Dangly Bits, Hopetoun Pottery, Hydranger Ranger, holistic Swedish masseuse Nicetouch NZ, Oratia Valley Workshop and Tart Cafe St Kevins Arcade.
