Overview

Touring off the back of the critically acclaimed album Obsidian, Los Angeles based Baths will return to New Zealand for two live shows.

The American electronic musician, otherwise known as Will Wisenfeld, is known for the use of "unorthodox" sounds layered amongst his music, in particular clicking pens, vocal samples, rustling blankets and scissor snaps.

His latest and third album Obsidian combines the intricate rhythms of the LA beat scene with indie sensibilities and is noted for its dark lyrical themes, inspired by months sick in bed, unable to eat solids due to a bout of E.Coli.

Baths will be joined by Wellington electro-duo Black City Lights.
