Overview

Aotea Square is currently hosting the light event Beam, a stunning Christmas display which is being put on by The Edge.

If you have the chance to go along you’ll encounter an alternative kind of Christmas tree, as moving searchlights create light patterns across the night sky. To enhance the atmosphere, music will be mixed by 95bFM's Stinky Jim and feature Auckland artists from the Round Trip Mars label including SJD, Scratch 22, Phelps & Munro and Jefferson Belt.

So rug up and lie back beneath the lights and take a moment to relish the festive season before the arrival of the big day.
