Better Burger Lunchbox Day

Listen carefully, because this is not a drill. If you’re in the Britomart vicinity this Friday, there will be free burgers available to you. That’s right – free. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and like this cannot possibly be true, let me tell you how.

The incredible people at Better Burger are joining forces with KidsCan to raise money for the 260,000 kiwi kids who go without their basics every day. With a view to not only raise funds but awareness for this all too oft-overlooked issue, Better Burger is determined that free burgers is a win for the public (obviously) and a powerful rally for extraordinary change. Thus, between the hours of 6 – 9pm on Friday, Better Burger will give away free burgers, fries and sodas as a small contribution that will lead to an overwhelming difference in the lives of struggling kiwi children. Their equally awesome suppliers Bread and Butter Bakery, JR Meats, Balle Brothers Farm and Service Foods have all jumped in on the good feels too and are donating the ingredients required to fulfil the burger dreams of Better Burger's salivating public. Ain't that nice?

All you need to do is turn up on time, offer a small donation that represents the value of a typical school lunch and then chow down on your favourite burger, knowing you’ve just done a damn awesome thing. In brief, there has never been a better time to eat a burger until now - as our good friend Lorde would say, I’ll see you there.
