Overview

Bic Runga needs little introduction. Her ethereal voice and elegant songwriting has captured hearts around the world across four albums. Three of them debuted at number one in New Zealand, while 'Sway' from her debut album Drive charted in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The New Zealand Order of Merit recipient produces idyllic music that is perfect to sit back and let wash over you on an endless summer day. So its fitting that she is performing on Waiheke Island on Goldie Vineyards on Saturday, 12 January. Runga will be joined none other than Lawrence Arabia whose kooky pop songs have netted him multiple VNZMAs and support for Okkervil River.

With gates opening at 3pm, there will be plenty of opportunity for people to partake in food and drink and find a perfect patch of grass to settle down on. Goldie Vineyards is the oldest winery on the island. With panoramic views of Putiki Bay and the Hauraki Gulf studded with Pohutukawa trees and established vines, it brings summer, music and wine together for one unforgettable night.
