Overview

Auckland's biggest harbourside celebration of rainbow diversity is back. Big Gay Out 2017 is brought to you by Ending HIV— an initiative that aims to end new HIV transmissions in New Zealand by 2025.

Soulful pop artist Parson James leads the lineup for this year's festival. The LGBT singer-songwriter comes by the way of New York for his second performance down under. Support will be provided by local pop-punk band Openside and a list of local acts including Lavina Williams, Jimmy Moore & Cas.D, ANJI, Charlotte Yates, Buckwheat, Miss Ribena, Susanne Paul, Aziz Sa'afin, Cindy of Sam

Festival favourites will return, like a new and improved Bear Garden, a larger dance zone with more platforms to flaunt your moves, and more than 100 stalls featuring locally produced products and food.

To save the hassle of finding a car park, the Family Party Bus will shuttle back and forth from Family Bar every 15 minutes between 11.30am to 8pm.
