Bike Rave: The Southern Bike Path Edition

It's once again time to deck out your two wheeler with fairy lights, adorn a glitzy costume and cruise the streets of Auckland with an entire bike gang. Yes, Bike Rave is back.

This year's roaming cycle tour starts with starts a 40-minute sunset cruise along the brand new Southern Bike Path from Waiata Shores to Brylee Drive. Following a short section of suburban road riding, the kaleidoscopic bike gang will park up for a silent disco on a tennis court. Here, King Kapisi will get the party started with a mash-up of dance and hip hop.

Bike Rave is alcohol-free and designed for the whole whānau. Refreshments will be provided to recharge you for the journey home, or for the nocturnal return leg. Bike Rave is a ticketed event presented by not-for-profit organisation Bike Auckland. Tickets are just $10 for adults, and $5 for kids.
