Overview

Self-proclaimed taste-making collective, The Black Club, together with street wear brand FortyThieves, will host the next addition of their notoriously reckless parties at 1885 on June 6.

Renowned party starters Mac Major and Katana lead the bill. As well as being a host on BaseFM’s ‘Radio Deep Freeze’, Major is a key addition behind the decks for hip hop collective The Doqument. Katana, has been amongst the DJ scene in New Zealand for over 10 years. His talent has seen him share bills with DJ Krush, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Sweater Beats, Skrillex, and Alison Wonderland.

The event will also features live performances from The Black Club founder Mac Mylo and local hip hop artists MEZ and Lil Trigarow. The dance floor in the 1885 Basement will be kept afloat with DJs T1R, TDK, CMCW and Ethan James spinning tunes into the early hours. Entry is free with RSVP.

As well as being in tune with everything music/fashion/culture, the higher powers of The Black Club host a radio show on George FM every Tuesday from 10 - 12pm.
