Overview

Bombay Sapphire is no stranger to immersive "ginstromony" experiences. This November, Bombay Sapphire is inviting locals to unleash their inner artist at new pop-up, The Living Gallery. Tipped as an avant-garde art gallery, guests will be able to enjoy interactive displays designed by event creatives, The Concept.

Inspired by Bombay Sapphire's ten botanicals, the displays will be complemented by cocktails from some of the best bartenders in New Zealand. Mixologists from Parasol & Swing and Bedford Soda & Liquor from Auckland, Yonder from Queenstown and Forresters Lane from Wellington have been tasked with creating cocktails that incorporate a sensory element. Guests can expect a martini that pays homage to the iconic flavours of Italy and a gimlet influenced by the smell of New Zealand pine.

In addition, artist Harris Keenan will be curating a large interactive mural that will evolve as guests add their own personal touch.

The Living Gallery will run from Wednesday, 21 November through to Sunday, 25 November at Glasshouse, a 450m2 glass structure in the soon-to-be-opened Morningside precinct. The opening comes from the team behind Britomart Hospitality Group. Tickets include a customised gin and tonic on arrival and two tokens to be redeemed for any of the four signature cocktails. For those interested in trying some classic gin cocktails, there will also be a free-to-attend gin lounge popping up at the same time and venue.
